Monday, 17 September 2007PRAISE FOR ANTIQUE SUPERMARKET We have been slandered by Mr Harry Stryer of
Antique Market4280 Main Street,Vancouver, BCCanada, V5V 3P9Phone (604) 875-1434mailto:875-1434info@antiquemarketvancouver.com
He purchased the cheapest container that we sell £8,000 Pounds Sterling for a 40ft container of around 200 lots. He asked for JUNKTIQUES and not genuine ANTIQUES. The average cost price of the items he purchased was 85 dollars Canadian. Harry buys from Third world markets like Indonesia and China. He buys pieces of furniture for a around a hundred dollars and then puts in in his warehouse and asks $1500 dollars at least per item. He has purchased furniture from Sabden Mill in Lancashire, he was a known bad payer and was refused merchandice. The charges for packing a 40ft container was £800 Pounds Sterling. Antiques Supermarket did not charge Harry a nickel is was FREE! We also gave him £1,000 Pounds Sterling worth of extra free merchandice as a gesture of goodwill! We have a sales contract to prove this.
I attach a copy of the email sent by Harry's Partner Clint saying that he was going to purchase two container from us, which was two 40ft container worth $25,000CDS each. We did not know that he already posted this blog in July. He and his partner wanted to con us out of these two containers. I attach the email sent to us on 11/8/2007 below
No problem Charles.Just for future reference all of our suppliers now send us itemized lists with photos of every piece. Some even include individual dimensions. It's 2007 with digital cameras and email it is more than simple to photograph each piece. It also means no one here has to go overseas to pick out a container. It was never a matter of cost. Harry would have bought the cans even with the pics you sent but when it comes down to choosing between a supplier who has photos of every item vs. a supplier who sends 8 pictures for 2 cans the choice is quite simple. Personally I prefer individual pictures, Harry is used to doing it the old fashioned way though and has for 25 years. I don't like surprises on the containers (but it isn't my call).I can have pieces held or conditionally presold before they even hit the water. That is just good business practice when I can have 1/3 of a can spoken for before it arrives.....So please keep it in mind for future containers. Sorry for all the delays, we both had assumed you would just put them on the water and the payment would have been squared up when Harry returned.Keep in touch!!Thanks,ClintAntiques Direct Worldwidecell 778.322.5057store 604.875.1434Please visit our website!!!www.AntiquesDirect.ca----- Original Message ----- From: To: "Antique Market Warehouse" Sent: Saturday, August 11, 2007 3:56 PMSubject: RE: Antique Market Containers
Antique Supermarket supplies antiques at the lowest prices in the world! Mr Les Swainbank who is a consultant for the firm has been a great asset. The only problem comes when ENVY comes into play by small time dealers who want to buy merchandice in 3 installments of which we have documentary proof. They feel inferior and want to try to defame probably one of the finest antique dealers in the world today, with 40 years of experiance.

This firm are scammer's as they came to England and purchased £19,000 Pounds worth of antiques from Antiques Supermarket, they put labels on items and confirmed they could pay the invoice rendered. They then did a moonlight flit and made no further contact with Antiques Supermarket.
Dear Charles,Thank you for your email Charles, you are obviously not as intelligent as I first thought.I have already arranged to send the money to Malar to enable her to pay you in cash for the goods they require from you. Malar in turn has arranged to pick the furniture up from your premises, but you obviously do not need the money so we will just go elsewhere.Thank you also for your comments in relation to the girls, I am sure Anne will be honoured to be recognised as a bullshitter by a master at the art.Whether you like it or not, you will be hearing from me, as your theft is going to cost you a lot more than a few pounds, if you do not resolve this issue.CheersBill FraserPs Obviously you still have not learned how to turn the spell checker on ;-)
You have bilked one of my friends. That is bad news for you.I hope you have plenty of property insurance. Some friends of mine are soon going to pay you a visit, when you least expect.Sleep well !Sign up today for your Free E-mail at: http://www.canoe.ca/CanoeMail
These are just some of the vicious and downright evil emails we have received from Mr Bill Fraser and his Indian Wife and Partner Anne Franks. We have threatened legal action and he continues to send spurious emails with different domiciles like Canada and New Zealand. This in our opinion is an Interpol Police Matter! Mr Charles Shackleton and Mr Simon Lofthouse have been totally HONEST! When dealing with clients of Antiques Supermarket. We defend all these slanderous remarks and we have put these on the web to PROVE our Innocence. The aims if these people is to cause us loss of clients and business but it has worked the opposite way as we have even more clients whom purchase from us under terms of a sales contract only.
ANY FURTHER SLANDER FROM ANY OF THESE PARTIES MENTIONED WILL BE TAKEN TO COURT WHERE WE SHALL SEEK DAMAGES IN OUR CAUSE THERIN.
